- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- In a bowl, mix the sour cream and onion soup mix together.
- Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the sour cream mixture to the pan.
- Stir well to coat the chicken in the sauce and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with the sauce on top and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding sautéed vegetables when mixing in the sour cream sauce.
