Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until creamy and smooth.
- Add the eggs to the sugar-butter mixture one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the pumpkin puree, sour cream, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve once fully cooled.
