Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until garlic is fragrant and lightly golden (about 2-3 minutes).
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
- Add the spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic oil.
- If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water to help the sauce coat the pasta.
- Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
- Serve hot, with grated parmesan cheese if desired.
