Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 red chili, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and red chili, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  4. Increase heat to high and add beef mince, cooking until browned.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped spring onions.

Notes

Adjust the heat level by removing seeds from the chili or reducing chili paste for a milder flavor. You can also include other vegetables for added crunch.
