Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 pound spicy tuna
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • Nori sheets
  • Soy sauce (for serving)
  • Wasabi and pickled ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar with a pinch of salt and sugar, then fold into cooked rice. Let cool.
  3. Prepare spicy tuna by mixing tuna with mayonnaise and Sriracha.
  4. On a bamboo mat, place a nori sheet and spread a thin layer of rice over it.
  5. Add a line of the spicy tuna mixture and slices of avocado.
  6. Roll tightly using the bamboo mat, then slice into pieces.
  7. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
