- 11/2 cup (1320 ml) s Gruyere cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and coat a 9-inch pie dish with non-stick spray.
- Warm the olive oil in a pan on medium heat, then sauté the onion and garlic until they are tender and aromatic, which will only take a few minutes. Incorporate the spinach and cook until it softens, about 3-4 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk. Mix in the Gruyère, feta, and Parmesan cheeses, adding a hint of nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper, and combine thoroughly.
- Place the spinach mixture evenly in the greased pie dish. Pour the egg and cheese blend over the spinach. Gently stir in the dish to ensure everything is well mixed.
- Insert the dish into the hot oven and cook for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is firm and the top has a golden hue.
- Allow it to rest for a few minutes before cutting, which will help it set properly.
