Description
A comforting dish that combines perfectly cooked pasta with tender steak in a luscious creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove from the pan and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Slice the rested steak into strips and add it to the sauce along with the cooked pasta. Toss to coat.
- Serve topped with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating fresh herbs like thyme or basil into the sauce. Ensure not to burn the garlic while sautéing.
