Description
A comforting dish featuring tender steak and creamy pasta that brings together robust flavors and satisfying textures. Perfect for sharing with loved ones.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta (or your choice)
- 2 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat.
- Slice the steak and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
Letting the steak rest after cooking helps retain its juices. Experiment with additional seasonings in the sauce for a unique twist.
