Description

A comforting blend of tender steak and soft pasta, complemented by garlic and cherry tomatoes, making it a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 1 lb steak, such as ribeye or sirloin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  4. Slice the steak into strips and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve hot and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check steak doneness: aim for 130°F for medium-rare. Customize with additional vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
