Description
A comforting dish of tender beef and chewy noodles enveloped in a rich and sticky sauce, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef (thinly sliced)
- 8 oz noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 green onions (chopped, for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the noodles according to package instructions. Once done, set them aside.
- In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until it turns a rich, brown color.
- Toss in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the sliced bell pepper and onion. Cook until they soften.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Pour over the beef and vegetables, ensuring everything is well coated.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing everything together until fully combined and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra stickiness, let the sauce simmer before adding noodles. Adjust the sweetness or saltiness of the sauce to your taste.
