A delightful twist on traditional cheesecake, these strawberry cheesecake egg rolls feature a warm, crispy exterior filled with a smooth, creamy filling and a burst of strawberry sweetness.


Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  2. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture and 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam in the center.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, then roll tightly. Seal the edges with water.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a deep pan or fryer.
  6. Carefully fry the egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
