Description

Delicious stuffed flatbreads filled with a savory mix of vegetables, eggs, and spices, perfect for sharing and enjoying with loved ones.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • A generous pinch of Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • Lukewarm Water (as required)
  • A little Ghee (for smearing)
  • Dry Flour (for dusting)
  • Oil (for frying)
  • 4 Eggs
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 cup Cucumber, sliced
  • ½ cup Carrots, julienne
  • 1 cup Onion, sliced
  • 2 Green chilies, chopped
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • A generous pinch of Chaat masala
  • A generous pinch of Black salt
  • 8 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 4 tbsp Green chili chutney

Instructions

  1. Mix the all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of ghee together in a bowl until crumbly.
  2. Gradually add lukewarm water until you form a soft, pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. For the filling, beat the eggs in a bowl and mix in salt, cucumber, carrots, onion, green chilies, lemon juice, chaat masala, and black salt until well combined.
  4. Roll out the resting dough into small circles, then place the egg mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Seal the edges of the dough around the filling to create a pocket.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the filled flatbreads until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chili chutney.

Notes

Allow the dough to rest adequately for best results. Experiment with different vegetable fillings and spices to customize flavors.
