Delicious homemade doughnut bites that are perfectly golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Ingredients
- Buttermilk (or plant-based milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
- All-purpose flour
- Butter or coconut oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Additional ingredients as needed
Instructions
- Prepare the batter by combining wet and dry ingredients
- Heat oil to 350°F
- Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil
- Fry until golden brown
- Drain on paper towels
Notes
- Can be made dairy-free by using plant-based milk with vinegar and coconut oil instead of butter
