Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili sauce (adjust for spice level)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-5 minutes. Remove steak and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and sriracha. Allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and steak back to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat evenly in the sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the steak sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking. Adjust spice level with sriracha as needed.
