Ingredients

- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade (reserve the marinade) and cook the steak bites until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or simmering the leftover marinade for a more complex sauce.
