Description

A delightful dish combining tender steak, garlic, and a sweet and spicy sauce, all wrapped around perfectly cooked pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper, and add them to the skillet. Sear until browned and cooked to your desired doneness; remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes, cooking for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet, combining it with the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure you do not overcrowd the skillet when searing the steak for a perfect crust.
