- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives for extra freshness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
