Ingredients
- – 1 pack (340 g) gemelli or any short-cut noodles, cooked
- – 2 cans (142 g each) tuna, drained
- – 1/2 cup (120 g) yellow onion, chopped
- – 1 to 2 cups (240 to 480 g) fresh mushrooms, chopped
- – 1 cup (100 g) crispy fried onions, crushed
- – 2 cups (200 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- – 1 cup (150 g) green peas, frozen
- – 2 cans (312 g each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- – 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) salt
Instructions
- Set your oven to 400°F to preheat.
- In a large bowl, blend together the pasta, tuna, green peas, chopped onion, and mushrooms.
- Add salt, pour in the cream of mushroom soup, and mix in 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Stir until everything is evenly combined.
- Move the mixture to a baking dish, then sprinkle the top with crushed crispy fried onions and the rest of the cheese.
- Place in the oven and cook for 18 to 22 minutes.
