Description

A comforting and creamy casserole version of twice baked potatoes, layered with garlic and onion flavors, topped with gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  3. Let the potatoes cool, then peel and mash them in a large bowl.
  4. Add sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the texture is smooth.
  5. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
