Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups kale, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in the white beans and chicken broth; bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the chopped kale and cook until wilted.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
