Description

Delightful air fryer churro bites with a crispy exterior and soft, warm center, dusted in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until it forms a ball.
  3. Let the dough cool for a few minutes, then add eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Use a piping bag to pipe small bite-sized pieces onto parchment paper.
  6. Spray the bites with vegetable oil and air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. After cooking, toss churro bites in the sugar-cinnamon mixture while still warm.
  8. Serve immediately.
