Description
Delightful air fryer churro bites with a crispy exterior and soft, warm center, dusted in cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients

- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Vegetable oil spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the flour until it forms a ball.
- Let the dough cool for a few minutes, then add eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Use a piping bag to pipe small bite-sized pieces onto parchment paper.
- Spray the bites with vegetable oil and air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. After cooking, toss churro bites in the sugar-cinnamon mixture while still warm.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Experiment with different flavorings or coatings for variety. Ensure to pipe evenly sized churros for even cooking.
