- 1 3/4 cup (420 ml) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) cornstarch
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon (10 ml) s baking powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s butter, unsalted and melted
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) pure vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoon (10 ml) s lemon zest
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoon (20 ml) s lemon zest, grated
- 4–5 tablespoon (68 ml) s butter, unsalted and melted
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, salt, buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
- Stir thoroughly until the mixture is well combined.
- Continue mixing until the batter is smooth. Coat your donut pans with a non-stick spray and fill them about 3/4 full with the batter. Place them in the air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes at 320°F using the air fryer setting.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing together the sugar, grated lemon zest, and melted butter. Pour the glaze over the donuts.
- Serve them on a plate and enjoy!
