  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruit (topping) – Strawberries or banana slices

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook the oats: Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are creamy and cooked through.
  3. Add almond butter: Stir in the almond butter and almond flour until well combined. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add maple syrup and brown sugar.
  4. Mix in almonds: Fold in half of the sliced almonds to add texture and flavor.
  5. Serve: Spoon the prepared oatmeal into bowls. Top with the remaining sliced almonds and fresh fruit of your choice.
  6. Garnish (optional): Drizzle with additional maple syrup for extra sweetness and flavor.

Notes

Adjust sweetness with maple syrup or brown sugar to your taste. Reserve some almonds for chunkier texture if desired.
