- Powdered sugar for dusting, optional
Instructions
- Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Add the cubed French bread to the egg mixture and gently fold to combine.
- Stir in the mixed berries.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the casserole covered for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
For best results, use day-old French bread for better absorption and consider adding nuts for extra crunch.
