- 6–8 Croissants, torn into pieces
- 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- Butter, for greasing the casserole dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Tear the croissants into pieces and place them in a greased casserole dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, ensuring they are well soaked.
- Add spoonfuls of blueberry cream cheese and whole blueberries throughout.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Serve warm, optionally with blueberry sauce.
Notes
Make this casserole the night before and refrigerate overnight for easier baking in the morning.
