- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla; mix well.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars and serve.
