  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup additional shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, milk, ketchup, onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and press into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
