- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup additional shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, milk, ketchup, onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and press into a greased casserole dish.
- Spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
