- 1 cup favorite BBQ rub
- Canola oil, as needed
- 1 qt frying oil (peanut or vegetable)
- HNY FYR BBQ Sauce
- Blue cheese sauce, for serving
- Chopped chives, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the frying oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss the chicken wings with the BBQ rub until fully coated.
- Carefully add the wings to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried wings in HNY FYR BBQ Sauce until well-coated.
- Serve immediately with blue cheese sauce on the side and garnish with chopped chives.
Notes
For extra tenderness, consider brining the wings before applying the BBQ rub. Always monitor the oil temperature for the best frying results.
