A spicy and creamy Cajun shrimp pasta dish packed with flavor and easy to make in under 30 minutes
Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb andouille sausage, sliced
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning
- In a large skillet, cook sausage until browned
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque
- Add cream, Parmesan, and butter to create sauce
- Toss cooked pasta with sauce and protein
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to control the spice level
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days
- Fresh shrimp works best, but thawed frozen shrimp can be used
