- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrots

- 1 cup orzo pasta

- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
Instructions
- Prepare the orzo according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season and cook the chicken breasts with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in olive oil until it reaches 165°F. Once cooked, dice the chicken.
- In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil. Sauté the onion, carrots, and celery until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the sautéed vegetables to create a roux and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until the mixture is smooth and thickened. Add chicken bouillon powder and diced chicken, letting it simmer until you reach your desired thickness.
- Fold in the cooked orzo and heat the entire dish through.
