- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- Zest of 2 limes
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- Whisk together granulated sugar and flour in another bowl.
- Add the eggs, lime juice, and lime zest to the mixture; whisk until smooth and combined.
- Pour the lime filling over the crust in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges begin to slightly brown.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Dust with powdered sugar before cutting into bars. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
Chilling the bars longer makes them firmer and easier to cut. Use fresh limes for the best flavor.
