Delicious brown sugar cookies made with just three ingredients: butter, brown sugar, and flour. Perfect for beginners and a treat for all!

- ½ cup salted butter, softened to room temperature (1 stick)
- ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the melted butter and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
- Add the flour and mix until no dry pockets remain.
- Press the dough into balls approximately 2 inches in diameter and place them on the baking sheet.
- Flatten the tops of the cookies slightly with your hand.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before enjoying!
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of vanilla extract.
