Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and lemon zest, and mix until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth for the glaze, then drizzle over the cooled bread.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
