Description

A simple and satisfying breakfast casserole made with four key ingredients: crescent dough, sausage, eggs, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 Pillsbury crescent roll tube (8 oz)
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 eggs, blended
  • 2 heaping cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet and remove any excess grease with a paper towel.
  3. Cover the bottom of your greased baking dish with the crescent dough, squishing the seams together with your fingers.
  4. Top the dough with an even layer of the browned sausage.
  5. Pour the blended eggs over top, and then sprinkle evenly with a generous amount of cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese turns a golden brown and the eggs are cooked through.

Notes
