Ingredients

- 2 racks of ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Mix together the olive oil and all the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture generously on both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for 3-4 hours, or until they are tender.
- Combine honey and BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over low heat to warm.
- Brush the honey BBQ glaze over the ribs and grill for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to check for tenderness; ribs should reach an internal temperature of around 190°F (88°C). Experiment with different wood types for unique flavors.
