Tender and flavorful smoked ribs that fall off the bone, perfect for gatherings and cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Mix together the olive oil and all the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Rub the mixture generously on both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for 3-4 hours, or until they are tender.
  5. Combine honey and BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over low heat to warm.
  6. Brush the honey BBQ glaze over the ribs and grill for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  7. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check for tenderness; ribs should reach an internal temperature of around 190°F (88°C). Experiment with different wood types for unique flavors.
