  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 oz unsalted butter
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Carefully place the seasoned cod fillets in the pan.
  3. Cook without moving them for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Remove the cod from the pan and set aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter to the skillet.
  6. Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add the chopped parsley, dill, chives, and lemon juice.
  8. Return the cod to the skillet and spoon the herb butter sauce over the fillets.
  9. Warm for an additional 1-2 minutes.
