Description

A warm and comforting bake featuring savory ground beef, tender biscuits, and melting cheese, perfect for cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the chopped onion and garlic until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Arrange the biscuits on top of the beef mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  7. If desired, sprinkle cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. Leftover roast beef or turkey can be substituted for ground beef.
