Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can biscuits
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the chopped onion and garlic until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish.
- Arrange the biscuits on top of the beef mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- If desired, sprinkle cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture. Leftover roast beef or turkey can be substituted for ground beef.
