  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (120 ml)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (60 ml)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (120 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 1 cup oat flour (120 g)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (30 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda (1.2 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.2 g)
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks (60 g)
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter chunks (60 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  4. Add the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas.
  5. Stir the mixture until well combined.
  6. In another bowl, mix the oat flour, chocolate protein powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  8. Fold in the dark chocolate chips or chunks and peanut butter chunks.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  12. Remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  13. Cut into squares and serve.
