- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- In another pot, steam the broccoli until tender.
- Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or quinoa, topped with steamed broccoli and green onions.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the shrimp in the honey garlic sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Feel free to add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
