Description

A refreshing drink combining the sweetness of honey, the zest of lemon, and the kick of fresh ginger, perfect for any summer gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 2 cups water
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices and mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water in a small saucepan and stir in the honey and ginger until the honey dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the ginger out and let the syrup cool.
  4. Mix the cooled syrup with the lemon juice and the remaining 1 cup of water in a pitcher.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and mint.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or lemon juice to taste. Experiment with garnishes or variations using fresh herbs.
