Instructions
- Mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until thoroughly combined.
- Dip each large shrimp into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the shrimp in batches into the hot oil, avoiding crowding.
- Fry until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried shrimp in warm hot honey until well coated.
