Description

Delight in soft and fluffy Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars topped with rich cream cheese frosting, merging the comfort of traditional cinnamon rolls with the ease of a bar cookie.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 1½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl, then add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the base batter, then add the remaining batter on top.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture throughout the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the bars to cool completely on a wire rack.
  12. Beat the softened cream cheese and remaining butter until smooth.
  13. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  14. Gradually add the milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches a spreadable consistency.
  15. Spread the creamy frosting evenly over the cooled bars.
  16. Cut the bars into squares and serve.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for smoother blending. Let bars cool completely before applying frosting.
