Description

A rich and flavorful marinated venison steak, perfect for grilling and enhancing family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb venison steak (sirloin, round, loin, etc.)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the venison steak dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish or resealable bag, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, spicy brown mustard, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir the marinade ingredients together until well blended.
  4. Add the venison steak to the marinade and turn a couple of times to coat evenly.
  5. Cover or seal and refrigerate for 8-24 hours, flipping the steak at least once.
  6. Preheat the grill to 350°F.
  7. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling.
  8. Grill the steak directly over the open flame for 4-5 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the internal temperature reaches 120-125°F for medium-rare.
  9. Once grilled, let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing or serving whole. Enjoy!
