Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg.
- Combine wet ingredients: egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar for coating.
- While still warm, dip each muffin in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Notes

- For vegan version, use flax egg, plant-based milk, and vegan butter.
