Description

Delicious homemade onion ring chips that are perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor, ideal for snacking or as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip the onion rings into the flour mixture to coat, then into the breadcrumbs.
  4. Carefully place the coated onion rings into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy your crispy onion ring chips!

Notes

For a crunchier texture, you can use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
