- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip the onion rings into the flour mixture to coat, then into the breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the coated onion rings into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm and enjoy your crispy onion ring chips!
Notes
For a crunchier texture, you can use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
