Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the diced peaches and nuts if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
