Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit until frothy.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients along with the eggs.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth, then allow it to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread the raspberry jam over it, and roll it up into a loaf.
  6. Twist the loaf and place it in a greased baking pan.
  7. Let it rise again, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
