- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit until frothy.
- Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients along with the eggs.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then allow it to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough, spread the raspberry jam over it, and roll it up into a loaf.
- Twist the loaf and place it in a greased baking pan.
- Let it rise again, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing and enjoy toasted or as a snack.
Notes
For a crunchy texture, sprinkle sugar on top before baking. Use high-quality raspberry jam for best flavor.
