- 1/2 cup smooth natural almond butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Wash the apples thoroughly.
- Slice each apple into round pieces, aiming for about six slices per apple.
- Use a small knife or a round cutter to remove the core from each apple slice.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the shredded coconut, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until evenly combined.
- Spoon the Samoa mixture onto each apple slice, gently spreading it to cover the center.
- Place the topped apple slices on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the apple slices and allow it to set before serving.
