Description

Delicious shredded rotisserie chicken sliders perfect for game days or gatherings, layered with creamy fillings and melty cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls are best)
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the slider buns horizontally to separate tops from bottoms.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the buns in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Mix the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and seasonings in a bowl.
  6. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
  7. Layer the cheese slices over the chicken mixture.
  8. Close the sliders with the top halves of the buns.
  9. Mix the melted butter with parsley and poppy seeds, if using.
  10. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
  11. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes.
