Description

Delicious slow cooker teriyaki meatballs, featuring a blend of ground meat, breadcrumbs, and a savory teriyaki sauce that creates a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, milk, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place meatballs in a slow cooker and pour teriyaki sauce over them.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until meatballs are cooked through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, or with toothpicks as appetizers.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of soy sauce or sesame oil to the meat mixture. You can also add vegetables like chopped bell peppers or carrots to the slow cooker for an all-in-one meal.
